Description
Some objects change a room without being loud. This bamboo root fruit bowl is one such object: organic in form, honest in material, and with an immediate presence – whether on the dining table, coffee table, or in the hallway.
Material & Manufacturing
Each bowl is carefully shaped from the solid rootstock of old bamboo plants – a material often considered waste, but here brought to new life. Careful polishing reveals the natural grain. The surface feels silky, yet retains the organic grooves and knots that make each piece unique. Weight: approx. 200–350 g depending on size. Available in three sizes.
Design & Aesthetics
The design follows the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi – the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The organic, boat-like form appears as if shaped by water. The natural color gradients from light beige to honey brown suit modern minimalist interiors as well as warm, naturally furnished rooms. Both sculpture and utilitarian object.
Possible Uses
As an elegant fruit bowl on the dining table. As a stylish container for nuts and snacks. As a decorative tray for keys and small items in the hallway. As a high-quality gift for lovers of sustainable design and natural materials.
