Description
A bowl that tells a story. Not loudly – but through the material itself: the natural grain of an old bamboo root, the unevenness of genuine handcraft, the weight of something that has grown. This bamboo root tea bowl is not a mass-produced item. It is a vessel with character.
Material & Manufacturing
Each bowl is carefully shaped from a single, old bamboo root and hand-polished for hours. The material comes from sustainable cultivation and impresses with its natural grain and the unique structures of the root. With a height of approx. 4.5 cm and a diameter of approx. 8 cm, it fits comfortably in the hand. Its weight of approx. 50 g makes it light yet robust. Sealed with natural, non-toxic oils – food-safe for hot beverages.
Design & Aesthetics
The design follows the Japanese Wabi-Sabi principle: beauty lies in naturalness and small imperfections. The rough but warm texture of the bamboo contrasts beautifully with the smooth surface of the tea. Each piece is unique – no two bowls are identical. A tea decoration for people who appreciate mindfulness and craftsmanship.
Uses
For the traditional tea ceremony or as a matcha bowl. As a stylish coffee cup for your morning espresso. As a decorative object on the table or shelf. As a meaningful gift for tea lovers, Zen fans, and people who value craftsmanship.
